Court work Our court department can be split into various departments Criminal Representation John Henderson and Sons LLP is one of Dumfries and Galloway's largest criminal defence firms. On a daily basis we represent many people charged with criminal offences, from minor matters in the District Court, to more serious offences in the Sheriff Court. We are also able to deal with major crimes such as murder in the High Court. For many people the first time that they will become involved in the Criminal Justice system is when they are charged with a road traffic offence, such as speeding. Personal Injury Claims Our reparation department can handle any claim for damages, against anybody. Cases may be taken on a 'no win no fee' basis, or depending on your financial circumstances Legal Aid may be available. We are experienced at all levels of court representation, including the High Court. Our reparation department is run by two partners, Lyall Moodie and Nick Gordon who have many years experience in dealing with matters of this nature.
